Submit presentation proposals to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can register for the conference at the link below. Please note that every participant must be a current member of CBDNA.
The DoubleTree Hotel in Charlottesville VA will be the only choice for housing for the conference. This is the hotel the UVA Band stays during our August Band Camp. Several of the sessions will be held at the Doubletree. There will be free transportation to all events and the Charlottesville/Albemarle airport during the conference. The conference rate for housing is $119 per night (plus tax) which includes full hot breakfast each day and lunch on Thursday and Saturday. The DoubleTree is located 2 miles from the airport and 6 miles from the Grounds of the University.
Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (Airport Code – CHO)
Two other options are Richmond (RIC) and Washington DC Dulles (IAD). These are both about 90 min away from Charlottesville. We will not be able to provide transportation from these airports to the conference.
The conference is $85 which includes the banquet at Monticello (the home of Thomas Jefferson (Bow tie not included in the fee)). The conference fee will be collected by the Doubletree Hotel’s conference services at the time of your room booking. They will email you an invoice for your records.
Golf this year will cost $40 and is optional. For those who indicate they wish to golf, $40 will be collected by the Doubletree Hotel’s conference services at the time of room booking. The golf outing this year will included a Hole in one contest for a Free Car provided by Gary Smith, Director Emeritus University of Illinois. Details on the course will be made available soon.
